The Stop Hémo® range of products is produced from calcium alginate (derived from marine algae), which has hemostatic and healing properties.

The healing benefits of seaweed have always been known: sailors and seaweed collectors used it to treat their wounds. In 1949, the pharmacist Pierre Brothier succeeded in transforming the medicinal substance contained in the algae into calcium alginate fibers. Thus, he put the hemostatic and healing properties of algae at the service of everyone.
